1. Information We Collect

BrainTrain AI Academy collects the information you provide when you create an account, including your name and email address. We also collect course progress, saved items, and usage data (such as pages visited and videos watched) to improve your learning experience.

If you complete a free AI Discovery Session, we collect the answers you provide (your goals, current situation, and similar business context) to generate your personalized AI Roadmap and, if you purchase one, your Interactive AI Business Blueprint ("Command Center"). This data is used to power the AI-generated recommendations, is only readable by you and BrainTrain administrators, and is not sold or used for advertising.

If you use the Résumé-to-Income workflow, you may paste résumé text, which may contain personal information, into the workflow form. We strongly recommend you remove names, phone numbers, email addresses, and other identifying details before submitting. The résumé text you submit is processed using our AI integration to generate your personalized income-opportunity analysis. It is stored temporarily in a secure, access-restricted cache (the "ResumeCache") so you do not need to re-paste it between the free preview and a paid full analysis. This cache is field-level read-locked, accessible only to backend processing on your behalf, expires automatically after 24 hours, and is deleted immediately after your full analysis is successfully saved. We do not retain your résumé text beyond these purposes, and we do not control whether any third-party AI provider retains a copy of data it processes under its own policies.

2. How We Deliver AI-Generated Content

Your AI Roadmap, Blueprint modules, AI Thinking Tools results, and Résumé-to-Income analyses are generated using an AI/large-language-model integration provided through our application platform (Base44). The information you provide (such as Discovery Session answers, a tool prompt, or résumé text) is sent to that integration solely to generate your personalized result. Whether the third-party AI provider retains or uses processed inputs under its own policies is outside our control and not guaranteed by us.

3. Account, Login & Application Infrastructure

BrainTrain AI Academy is built on Base44, an application platform that provides our account creation, login/session management, and underlying data storage. Base44 processes your account information as our infrastructure provider in order to operate the site.

4. How We Use Your Email Address

• To create and manage your account and verify your identity.
• To send transactional messages (account setup, password resets, course access).
• To deliver course updates, academy resources, and product announcements.
• To respond to your support requests and questions.

You can unsubscribe from marketing and promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us. Transactional emails related to your account will continue.

5. Payments

If you purchase the $9 Résumé-to-Income workflow, the $47 Interactive AI Business Blueprint, or subscribe to the $47/month AI Coach membership, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details ourselves; Stripe provides us a customer/subscription reference so we can confirm your purchase and, for AI Coach, let you manage or cancel your subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal.

6. Email

Account and transactional emails (welcome messages, your AI Roadmap, receipts, password resets) are sent through our application platform's email delivery integration. If you request our free downloadable AI guide or subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is also synced to Mailchimp, our email marketing provider, so we can send that guide and any newsletter content you've opted into. You can unsubscribe from marketing/newsletter emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in those emails; transactional emails related to your account will continue.

7. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers described in this policy who help us operate the platform — our application/authentication platform (Base44), payments (Stripe), email delivery and marketing (our platform's email integration and Mailchimp), and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics — under terms that limit their use of your data to providing that service to us.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Some records (such as saved AI tool results, Discovery Session answers, and billing logs) may be retained as needed to operate the platform and maintain records; we will remove personal data associated with your account where practicable, except where we are legally required or permitted to retain it.

9. Cookies & Analytics

We use a small set of essential cookies/local storage required for login, security, and completing a purchase — these are always on. Separately, if you accept our optional analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics and our own first-party, anonymous traffic analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Neither runs until you accept. Lesson and blog pages that embed YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced ("nocookie") embed mode. 10. Your Rights
